Bedroom general rules
Vastu shastra for bedroom advice that male members of the family should have their bedrooms either in the West or Northwest corners of a home as they have powerful and convincing militaries.
It also advises that the female members should have their bedrooms in the South or Southeast corners because it indicates good health and cheerfulness.
Married couple for master bedroom
As per the Vastu guidelines, the married couple should have their bedrooms in the Southwest corner and if the home is multi-storied it is advisable to have the master bedroom on the second floor also, we make sure that the kids don’t have their bedrooms in the same area as it is an indication of trouble.

Guidelines for master bedroom interior
- The following guidelines should be followed regarding the bed habits, room size, and decorations of the room as per Vastu:
- Place the bed in such a way that when sleeping the head of the guest should not be in the North direction and if it does then it is preferable for the owner of the house that their head is in the East or South direction while sleeping.
- The bed should be placed in such a way that when one jumps out of the bed their right foot should touch the floor first and after that left foot
- To get maximum benefits it is advisable that if one wishes to study in the room then they need to face in the East direction.
- As per Vastu, it is advisable to design the bedroom in such a way that the wardrobes are in the Northwest or South corners, and on the other hand, the televisions, and heaters should be placed in the Southeast direction.
- As mentioned in Vastu one should evade having a safe in the bedroom and if it is necessary to have a safe then the safe should be positioned in the South corner.
- It is advised that one should decorate the Southwest corner of the room and it should not be left undecorated at any cost.
- It is better to avoid having calendars, photos, or statues in the bedroom.
- It is preferable to light the room with a small bulb or a table lamp as according to Vastu the rooms should not be kept in dark.
- It is preferable to paint the walls of the bedroom with dark colors like dark blue and dark green and should evade light colors such as light yellow and white.

The following guidelines may help you construct and decorate your kid’s bedroom according to Vastu:
It is advisable that kids have their bedrooms in the East or in Northwest corners of a home.
The North and East walls of the kid’s bedroom should be left undecorated as per Vastu-Shastra.
In the South, West, and Southwest corners the beds should be placed.
While sleeping kid’s head should be in the East direction and their foot should be in the West direction as it is meant that the energy for an intelligent mind flow in those directions.
